Community Spot light- The Co-Lab

The Co-Lab is a co-working and event space inclusive to all parents and caregivers in the Proctor district of Tacoma. The Co-Lab is just one of a pod of businesses in Tacoma that supports working families.

I have been lucky enough to work with the ladies of the Co-Lab, and they have been such a saving grace for me as a work from home entrepreneur mom. Owners Kayla and Natasha are amazing hard working moms who have a true passion for helping families.

If you are an entrepreneur and need some support creating work life balance or just need some amazing hard working friends, I highly recommend the services at the Co-Lab.

Here is a little bit from the Co-Lab website:

“Our Pod Family of Businesses includes The Pod Works, Tacoma Children’s School, and The Co-Lab.

Together, we bring our community inclusive solutions to co-working, childcare, and event spaces rentals. We offer on-site childcare, birthday parties, community events, career workshops, and parent education. We are empowering working parents to carve their own path by creating a healthy, flexible balance in work and family life for themselves and their children.

We believe in inspiration. We believe in making space for discovery. We believe in chasing dreams. We believe in collaboration over competition. We believe we are better when we are working together. “
