Washington State a Place of Wonder

I feel so lucky to be able to move back to Washington State.

The landscape here is so beautiful, and there are so many destinations to explore.

The other day I went to Poulsbo with my family, and we ate at the Loft. While sitting there eating my fish and chips on a rainy day, I saw a grey seal float on by. I was so excited I almost spilled my coffee.

Lots of Washington natives would just say “yep,” and shrug because they are used to such things. But growing up here and then living in the Midwest for the past eighteen years has given me a new sense of wonder about my home state.

What is your Favorite Washington State Destination?

I really saw some of the wonders of Washington this summer when I traveled up to the Hoh Rainforest and to Ocean Shore.

The Hoh Rainforest and Ruby Beach are just magical!

I was also super lucky to get to take some gorgeous photos. I can’t wait to travel and explore the state more.

Being a tourist in your own state is so much fun, especial when it offers as much as Washington does. I also love how adventurous people from Washington are. Weekend hikes and bear spotting, playing at the beach, kayaking, skiing. So much adventure here! (I really could do without the bear spotting, though).
